Archer has white/silver short hair, brown eyes. He is 187cm, with broad shoulders wears mostly hoodies and dark jeans, though he wears more elaborate costumes (resembling armor) when on stage. He is sometimes seen wearing stage clothes on the streets. His favored color happens to be black and red. He is good looking, with a hint of underlying sex appeal that he is clearly aware of.

Archer doesn’t hide much but doesn’t reveal much. He is conservative in words, but never hesitates to flatter his friends. When provoked, he can be an extremist. He is careful and always thinks twice before doing anything, but he never stops to help people. He also has a weird quirk of talking to random strangers and doing household chores. A bit of a rebel in his quiet ways, he tends to do things opposite of what others want of him (such as joining a band). His hobbies are Kyudo, Kendo, and fixing electronic things (such as guitars). His love of his life is music.

history.

Archer was an orphan (abandoned by his teenage mother who later died of overdose) adopted by a wealthy businessman, who named him Emiya Shirou. At a young age, he showed much interest in the guitar. Besides music, Emiya the elder encouraged him the in traditional martial arts of Kyudo and Kendo. Known only by those who know him very well the talented child soon acquired formidable skill in both arts. At the age of ten, an explosion at his adopted father’s factory nearly obliterated everyone and everything half a kilometer around it. His father died, and Shirou, nearby was all but dead. He fell into coma and when he finally woke up; he realized that he lost everything, including his memory. He owns the big house alone, and became almost autistic, secluding himself from the world, playing his guitar (in secret) and practicing archery and kendo. Shirou’s auburn hair turned white with either grief or anger. Seeing no use to his old name, he is now known as Archer.
When he turned fourteen, Archer dropped out of school, sold the mansion and moved to a penthouse in the city. There, in the underground scene, he managed to form a band with Gilgamesh and his gang called Gates of Babylon. The two became well acquainted due to their drastic difference in character and similarities in desire for rebellion. The members and the audience were dazzled with his guitar solos, and the band became well known. For his day job, he applied as an employee for a video game store in Chinatown, (its owner supports music).
In this city, Archer also developed deep feelings with a girl named Saber. Gilgamesh and Archer became close friends because of their same love for rock, but also bitter rivals for their love of the same girl.
